The Rocky Mountain National Park Rides start at 2 hours and go all day, up to a full days' riding!
2 Hour: $60 - Our most popular trip follows the babbling Fall River to the beautiful Hidden Meadow and rides through enchanting Little Horseshoe Park. Chances of viewing deer, elk, coyotes, porcupines and other Rocky Mountain National Park Residents are good as we ride through their natural habitat. Wildflowers dot the area, surrounded by the snow-capped Mummy Range. A treat for all ages and safe for all levels of riders.
4 Hour: $90 - A leisure paced, relaxing tour on horseback of Horseshoe Park to Endovalley.Following the Fall River and viewing some of thereafter effects from the 1982 Lawn Lake Flood makes this a close-up encounter with one of "Rocky's" most popular areas. This 4 hour ride for school age or above, and any skill level of rider. Leaves daily at 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.
6 Hour: $130 - This Mountain Ride that takes you to the summit of Deer Mountain. View Moraine Park and the Continental Divide. At 10,013 feet. bring your lunch so we can take a break at the top! Also, don't forget to bring a jacket! (And arrive early so we get to all the views on time!)
8 Hour: $200/ 9 Hour: $230 - For the adventurous spirit or the true horse lover, trek through Horseshoe Park and follow the Roaring River on our 8 or 9 hour trail trips to the sparkling Ypsilon Lake or to historic Lawn Lake, at timberline. View the devastation of the 1982 Lawn Lake Flood, and witness nature's ability to heal its wounds. Pack a lunch and picnic at close to 11,000 feet above sea level as you become one with the awesome surroundings of this fantastic country. (Jackets, snacks, and water are recommended. We also have saddle bags for you to take your things!) Please arrive early to make sure we get you out on time!
Disclaimer for all day rides: Anyone participating in these rides needs to be in excellent physical condition. These are very long rides that gain a lot in elevation. Altitude sickness, afternoon thunderstorms and change in temperatures all become factors. Anyone that doesn't have a lot of previous riding experience, or is not in great physical health are not recommended to do these rides.
Reservations are required at least a week in advance. Some dates will not be available. A minimum of 2 riders to reserve a ride is required. Cancellation policy is the 24 hours prior to your ride time.
Dinner Ride: $45 - Enjoy a 2 hour ride through Rocky Mountain National Park with a dinner following the ride at the Trailhead Restaurant located at Gateway Fall River Visitors Center. Price of dinner ride is $45 plus a 25% discount on the full menu options (excluding alcoholic drinks) from the restaurant. The meal options include salmon, trout, wild game, steaks, pasta, salads, soups, wraps, & sandwiches, etc. Dinner will be ready to serve immediately following the completion of the ride.
At the Trailhead you may enjoy dinner and beverages, including regionally brewed and national brand beers, served from our Old West log bar. The experience of the Trailhead will be unforgettable as you dine surrounded by a panorama of towering mountains and the nearby seductive high peaks and forests of Rocky Mountain National Park. For those wanting a truly remarkable dining experience, try a meal on our expansive log and stone pillar open-air deck.
